FAQs

Do you have any events in other venues?

The venue for all our events is Forty Hall Banqueting Suite near Enfield, north London. We will be adding other venues in the near future so keep an eye on the website for developments.

Do I have to be a member to attend an event?

No, but membership will have lots of benefits and we are pleased to announce that, by popular request, our membership scheme will be in operation shortly. Keep an eye on the website for details of membership and benefits.

Can I suggest some ideas for events?

Yes please! We want the events to be of interest and fun for you, so the more comments and ideas we get, the better we can plan events tailored for you.

How do I book?

You can book online or by post by using the links on the event pages

Can I join the mailing list?

If you are not booking an event now but would like details of future events planned, please either use the booking form to place your name on the mailing list, or send your name and contact details to info@fellowfoodies.co.uk.

What if I change my mind or can’t make it?

You can’t cancel a booking but you can transfer the booking to another event (providing there is space available) or you can send someone in your place. You will be required to pay the difference if the event you are transferring to is of a higher price than the one booked. You will be refunded if it is of a lower price.

What if fellow foodies has to change or cancel an event?

In the unfortunate event that a presenter cannot attend an event or an event cannot take place, you will be offered the choice of an appropriate alternative or a full refund.

Are any of your events cookery classes or cookery demonstrations?

At the moment, we don’t have the facilities to offer cookery demonstrations or cookery classes. All our events though are fully participative and carefully designed to help you taste and understand more about great food.

How much participation is there at the events?

All our events are fully participative and carefully designed to help you taste and understand more about great food.
At our tasting experiences you will be fully involved and will taste all the samples on offer.
After all our presentations you will be able to ask the presenter questions and then join them as we enjoy a glass or two of wine together.

Are there a limited number of places at each event?

Yes. In order for you to enjoy the experience and have personal contact with the presenters, places at each event are limited. For a tasting experience, there is a limit of 100 people. For a presentation, there is a limit of 120 people.

What is the dress code for the events?

Smart casual will be fine

What if I am late to an event? Will I still be allowed entry?

We always aim to start on time and latecomers can distract the presenter. We do ask you, therefore, to be on time. You will be allowed in if circumstances mean you are held up but we can’t give any refund.

Do you have any terms and conditions?

We do have to have some in order for fellow foodies to run smoothly and to make sure you get the most from each event. We’ve tried not to have too many and you can see them on our terms and conditions page.
